First Tourney win in OZ

Heya people,

how's everybody. This weekend was pretty brilliant - finally GOOD weather again - perfectly blue skies and warm for Sat and Sun. Check out the new pics that I've put on Flickr - so that you can get an idea.

Kenno and I finally managed to win one of the NBVA tourneys in Manly - so we are both pretty stoked and the night before we also had a good B-Day party for Yolana (see pics). Unfortunately I've missed the opportunity to see the Queen Victoria and the Queen Elisabeth. Which sort of was an historic event.

Some volley ...

Hello again,

how's everybody? Haven't heard from some people in ages. I've been alright at the other end of the world - weather is still so so. Apparently it is the worst summer since about 17 years or - it's still better than most summers in Germany but it still sucks if it rains every now and then.

The National Tour Event for the Australian Beachvolley Tour unfortunately got canceled due to beach erosion - that was really a disappointment for a lot of us down at the beach - especially the guys that were keen to play like Katie, Eliza, Aaron, Marie Fe and Sarah. I would have loved to play as well but I would have needed an international wildcard cuz I'm not a citizen. Anyway, the beach looks pretty bad (from a volley players perspective) and we've lost 4 courts already - still 4 remaining. This week the first team for the Swatch FIVB World Tour event in Adelaide arrived and more are to come next week - this includes:
Sasha & Patrick
Mischa & Jonas
Christoph & Julius

So there will be a lot of top class volley going on the next week and all of the above are keen for Beijing 2008!!! It's gonna be sweet! I will grab my good cam and try to get some good shots of the guys - Yeah, I know I've been bad with uploading pics lately - but there will some whenever I run into new things.
