A new challenge ...

Hello everybody ...

winter is still upon us and to put it straight - winter here is not bad so far ... currently it is a bit rainy but that does not matter that much. Work is a bit tough at the moment and hence I am actually happy that it is raining - does not make it as hard to stay inside ;)

I would say that a number of things happened till the last time I posted some news. First of all - works been tough but good and rewarding - I got promoted and can now officially call myself Senior Advisor 3 = Assistant Manager - not to bad I'd say. Let's see what the new financial year will bring ... the first phase of the major project that I am working on is nearly finished and we definitely had some interesting twists and turns in it ... I might go and get a BCI Institute certification - just to have proof that I have my act in Business Continuity together.

Secondly - NBVA is being good as well ... actually I can now officially call myself President of the club. I think that is quite good as well as we can hopefully create a lot of momentum and push Beach Volleyball on the Northern Beaches to a better level. It is a challenge indeed but it is fun and I just love that sport to much to let such a chance pass by ...

And lastly I am currently looking for a new place to stay - closer to the beach ;) Lifestyle is all that matters and Manly is just awesome. Going shopping on the weekend as well ... I need some new suits/ties etc ...

And the best thing is: The iPhone will be release on the 11th of July ... finally the wait is over and it's even better than the first generation one ...

Two days of winter ...

Hey guys,

I've just realized that I have not posted anything in about a month - bad me ... but that just meant that I was busy with work and I am currently heavily involved in restructuring and revitalizing of the local volleyball club (NBVA). It's a lot of fun and we are getting some traction now and hopefully we will have a better season next year than it was this year. It's a pretty cool adventure.

This weekend the "Food and Wine Festival" took place in Manly in this is the reason for our annual 4 a-side dress up tournament ... I can tell you - quite an experience ;) check out the pictures on Flickr and on Facebook ... lots of fun ...

Yeah, that's pretty much it ... since two days it is officially winter and pretty punctual to that it started raining ... oh well, it's still warm ;)
