8 courts are back - Olympic games were fun

Hey guys,

just a brief update from the other side of the world. We finally managed to get all of our 8 courts back on Manly Beach - it was a bit of a short notice from the council but we managed it and we even had about 60 people down at the beach with shovels and wheelbarrows levelling the sand and drilling holes for the net posts. So, the scene is set for the new season ;)

NBVA also had two Olympic Beach Volleyball Screenings in conjunction with SBVS and we had a great turn out of about 40 people for the first one and about 80 for the second - it was great fun and it so great to see that we get the crowd going.

Our home slowly but surely starts to look like a home and we are settling in fine. We completed all our furniture shopping this Saturday with the purchase of the final piece: Outdoor furniture for our BBQs. All is the set for our housewarming party which we will have within the next couple of weeks.

All's good and summer is approaching in big steps (so looking forward for the warmer weather).

Hope y'all are good - see you,

Mike

Hey guys,

it's about time that I'll post something again - don't you think. A lot of stuff happened the last couple of weeks and we were fairly busy with setting up everything these days - I also was sick for about a week which did not really speed up the whole process.

So let's see - this is what happened in a nutshell:

- Bought a lot of new furniture
- Bought a flat screen TV and a BBQ!!! (Getting ready for summer)
- Work's been busy (a lot of change going on)
- NBVA season planning is moving forward
- Going to the opera this week
- Played a lot of volley
- Enjoying life
- iPhone is still alive
- Can't wait for summer to finally arrive

All is well and we are having a good time down under. New pictures will be posted soon. Hope you guys are well - be in touch.
