Oh dear - it's been a while since our last entry. We both have been incredible busy with work and volleyball and we suppose the best way to follow our daily life is actually Facebook (as much as I hate to admit it - it is a good tool for that purpose). Time flies and our around the world trips comes closer as well.
Anyway, we hope you all had a great easter and found some chocolate eggs or bunnies ;) The beach volleyball season comes slowly but surely to an end - at least the competitive part - and now leaves only the more strategic and organisational part which I intend to wrap up before we leave. The last tournament was a big success as well including an awesome end of season party. Before that Franky, Andrea and I where up in Brisbane to compete in the Australian National Beach Volleyball Championship - we ended up 13th which was not to bad considering the circumstances - anyway, it was a great experience and I finally got to meet all the people from interstate that have the same interest in driving and growing the sport in Australia. We are now going way to plan for the next season and a National / Pro Tour in Australia.
Work has been busy as well - project wise and learning wise - I have been involved in a lot of Business Resilience work and I am also actively driving the further development of the BR and ERP area in our practice. Lets see where that brings us too.
Last weekend we celebrate Andrea's first birthday way from home with a big chocolate mud cake (aka death by chocolate cake) and a trip to the Blue Mountains - including cable train ride, a tiny hike and a Japanese Spa/Massage.
I suppose new pictures should follow on Flickr soon.
Hope all of you are well.
Take care,
M&A
